Concessional Licensing Day
Sunday 27th June 2009
Members with concessionally licensed vehicles are reminded that the examination day is fast approaching. Now is the time to ensure that all vehicles are roadworthy and comply with all concessional license requirements. All members who had work requirements on their vehicle from last year are reminded that all such items must have been addressed or the vehicle will not be passed. Members are also reminded that vehicle modifications other than factory fitted options must be removed and replaced with original equipment or the vehicle will not be passed. If a vehicle does not comply in these ways it must remain on / be put back on standard license.The inspection venue will be the vehicle examination centre at the corner of Stock and Stockdale roads in O’Connor. The examinations will commence at approximately 8:30am. However, members will receive a letter prior to the day advising them of their appointment time. This is the only inspection carried out by the club this year so please ensure that your car is available.
AGM & General Meeting

The AGM is being held at the RSL Clubrooms, 1 Fred Bell Parade, East Victoria Park. The AGM will be preceded by a General Meeting which will commence at 2.00pm sharp. At the AGM all committee positions will be declared vacant and nominations for positions called for. Members are encouraged nominate themselves for various positions as well as others. After the meetings, afternoon tea and some drinks will be provided.

Pie and Lamington Run, York.

Cost will be $12.00 per head including entrance to Motor Museum., and you will need to present your membership card to the museum to gain entry. We will assemble at the Gyprock Trade Centre Car Park 1 Farrall Road corner of Great Eastern Highway in Midvale at 9.30am for a 10.00am departure. We will cruise to York Tennis Club, where we will partake of the sumptuous offering of quality Culley’s Pies and Lamingtons, not to mention hot and cold drinks.
Evening Cruise

We intend to meet at Taylor Reserve in South Perth at 4.30pm for a 5.00pm departure. We will then cruise to the Beach Street Café in East Fremantle where we will have our dinner. After dinner we will continue our cruise through the Cappuccino strip of Fremantle and meet up at a designated destination.

As always to be held at 1 Fred Bell Parade East Victoria Park, commencing at 2.30pm. Recent and upcoming events will be discussed, as well as other matters which may arise. Afternoon Tea will be served at the conclusion of the meeting. Please come along and have your say.

Show and Shine at Guildford.

We intend to meet at Taylor Reserve in South Perth at 8.30am for 9.00am departure. Arrive Guildford by 9.30am. Members can also meet at Stirling Square at 9.30. A sausage sizzle lunch and drinks will be supplied. This is a popular tourist destination, so we expect plenty of attention and publicity for our pride and joys. We will be asking the general public to participate in People’s Choice voting for our cars. The Dennis Klarich Memorial Trophy voting will also be happening between members.

We will assemble at the Narrogin Inn Armadale cnr of South West Hwy and Albany Hwy at 7:00 am for 7:30 am (Sharp) departure to meet at a second meeting point in the car park at the Pinjarra bakery at 8:15 am (Turn right off Pinjarra Rd into Peel St, you will see the Bakery car park on your left just behind the front row of shops)
